Why can’t Valve release a game on time?

Please, Valve, explain to me why you can’t release games on time. You released the Left 4 Dead 2 demo late. It was ridiculously buggy for anyone with the misfortune of trying to run it on Windows 7. I made it through the demo once. I crashed every other time.

Now, it seems that you’re 10 minutes late with the Left 4 Dead 2 game. I’ve already getting messages containing “this won’t unlock until tomorrow zomglol”. Your forums also appear to be down. If you just unlocked the game, we’d all be happy.
