Directory of Engineering Technology Institutions and Programs
Technologies Employed: PHP/MySQL, Javascript, AJAX
This web application was built for the American Society for Engineering Education. It is an web-edition of their paper directory. The application is built so that individual schools can request user names from an Administrator to add, remove, and update their own institution’s educational programs and contact information.
The Directory also allows the general public to search information provided by the institutions. The search can be done by state, curriculum code, ABET accreditation status, and desired degree (Bachelors, Associates, or Masters.) This search interface is an AJAX interface that was employed to conserve bandwidth at the school hosting the application.
At the time of this writing, the application has approximately 110 registered users.

Destructoid.com OpenSearch Plugin for Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 7
Technologies Employed: OpenSearch specification/XML
This was a Christmas gift to my favorite video game community Destructoid. Destructoid.com employs approximately 36 employees and receives approximately 2.5 million unique visitors a month.
While the code was developed for use on a different project, I modified the code to search the Destructoid website as well as the Destructoid Community Blogs. As of December 25th, 2007, the OpenSearch plugin is in use on the website.
